It's not so much a stretch of the imagination anymore to envision living in the time of the great battle of Gog and Magog.  The battle of Gog and Magog is talked about in the book of Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39 and alludes to the nations of the world joining together to come against Jerusalem (Israel). I will admit here and now, that I was of the opinion that George Bush pushing his Road Map, and his desire to divide Jerusalem and Israel, fit the bill of being Gog. I won't venture now to toy with who might fill that role.  It can be Russia as many Rabbis say, or can be from Edom/Rome/the 'West', as others suspect. Time will tell us who Gog is. However, the biblical description of the story of Gog states that he and his troops are lured down through the north of Israel to rampage our towns and take us over, but his plans are foiled and his forces are all killed by fiery hail storms and other supernatural means to show the world who REALLY reigns!  In fact, the number of Gog's forces that will be killed, will be so many, that it will take over 7 months for the Jews in Israel to bury all the bodies.  Gog too will die in Israel.

Fast track to today, where the children of Israel have been brought back to the Land of Israel from the 4 corners of the earth.  The stage is set, and the nations of the world converge on Jerusalem.  (Ezekiel chapters 38-39).  Everyone wants Jerusalem, it is the spiritual capital of the world.  The nations of the world all blame Israel for the lack of world peace.  They may advance in this coming battle in the guise of 'bringing, - excuse me, 'forcing' their man-made peace on us. 

The Bible says that these nations of the world will come against Israel and the Jewish people.  But who are the nations of the world? And how many are we talking about? 

We look to the book of Genesis where this is mentioned, and find out that the nations of the world were made during the building of the Tower of Babel (Genesis, chapter 11).  Mankind, EXACTLY like today, wanted to build a tower to reach the heavens, and there, de-throne G-d, and take His place.  We, Mankind, wanted to become the Masters of our own destiny!  We would make the laws and we would re-define what was moral, what was good and what was bad.  The only difference today is, that instead of us building a 'tower' like days of yore, we are instead building a One World Government.  A New World  Order.  And this New Order today tries to de-throne G-d, and re-interpret what is moral.  Today, in this new age, sodomy isn't an abomination, it is just an 'alternative life-style'.  Today, promiscuity isn't evil, it's just 'sexual experimentation'.  Today, a woman dancing naked isn't called a stripper, instead she is called an 'exotic dancer'.  Today, tolerating evil and appeasing it, isn't weakness or cruelty, but it is dubbed 'strength' and 'tolerance'.  Man has re-named evil and garbed it in cosmetic terms to make them acceptable, even 'hip'.  We have clothed evil in make-up and political correctness and slapped it with a government approved label.  

The European Union is one of the major blocks or stepping stones to a One World government/Tower of Babel. In fact, take a look at this picture of the Tower of Babel.  Take a good look. It is used as a poster to promote the EU!

 

Now, below, is a picture of the EU Parliament in Strasbourg. It is the Tower of Babel.

Just as in the Bible we read that G-d would not let Man continue with building their tower, and instead mixed up the speech of the people into 70 different languages giving rise to 70 diverse cultures/nations around the globe, we shall see G-d plunder Gog and his New World Order (NWO) as well. 

In the end of days, the nations of the world will come against Israel under Gog. Remember, all the nations of the world are '70'.  Know also that the Gematria or numerical value of the Hebrew letters of the words 'Gog and Magog' = 70. 

Know also that 70 nations of the world met to support and fund, the establishment of a Palestinian State in the belly of Israel. 

A few months ago, just before the U.S. presidential elections,  Dr Zbigniew Brzezinski gave a speech at Chatham House declaring what needed to be done immediately in the diplomatic and geo-political world after America elects a new president.  Israel must be pushed to establish a Palestinian State inside it's own country and divide it's capital Jerusalem and give it away.  He said this pressure on Israel must be enforced soon, as the window of opportunity for 'peace' was closing, alluding to Jewish settlement which is making more and more demographic facts on the ground.  

Dr Brzezinski spoke at the Chatham House (thanks to David who sent me this from Germany) which is said to be another name for RIIA (the Royal Institute of International Affairs, a world-leading institute for the debate and analysis of international issues,  which was established with the help of Cecil Rhodes in the late 1800's.  It's American branch is the Council on Foreign Relations which was established in 1921. The Royal Institute of International affairs is akin to being the sister or mother organization of the CFR, the think tank that brought you the North American Union.

Below I am supplying a part of the speech that Dr Brzezinski, a top Obama advisor, gave at the Chatham House. In it below, at about 5min and 20 seconds in, he describes the nations of the world, all agreeing, to participate in the push to wrest Jerusalem from Israel.  He states emphatically that all the nations of the world (6min 26 sec.) will back up this effort.  At 8:22 in this video clip below, Brzezinski talks about the demand to divide up Jerusalem. He ends his talk with a joke, saying that if the West's plan of how to make peace is wrong, we'll be no worse off than we are now.  It's not funny, because maybe HE won't be worse off, but Israel will have had it's limbs amputated, been downsized, broken up and carved out, and Israel could not survive having a PLO terror state inside of our borders, having the Arabs in rocket target fire distance of our major international airport, and being a country that at one point is only 9 miles wide and can be cut in half at the Mediterranean Sea.   

 

Add to this, the by-now famous video of Barak Hussein Obama's advisor and staff member Samantha Power, who alludes to an invasion of Israel by the USA and Western forces to enforce their idea of peace.  

 

And to put more gasoline on this fire, see this article which describes a new foreign policy for the USA regarding abandoning Israel.  In another story, Israel's chief of Staff left the USA trip he was on early, because he was 'dissed' there with no one of his level or who had any policy influence on Obama's staff could find the time to meet with him. He came to discuss Israeli intelligence on Iran's nuclear reactor and to discuss ways to stop Iran from possibly triggering a third world war.   Instead, the U.S. president had other things to do like go and be a guest on Jay Leno's Tonight Show.  I am not sure where his other upper staff was, maybe they were busy being contestants on Deal, or No Deal.  But no one had time to meet with our chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi to set a plan of action on how to deal with Iran and it's nuclear threat, not just against Israel, but against America as well.  Let's not forget that Iran is in bed with Hugo Chavez and has opened a base in Venezuela and Nicaragua, too close to comfort for Americans.  Instead, the American administration is unfortunately gravitating towards wooing the Arabs, and are wanting to see a Palestinian State established.

The nations are grumbling.  The nations are getting antsy and impatient, the West, and the Arabs.  History is speeding up. A possible planned invasion of troops by different nations of the world can converge on Israel, either from the East, or the West. Are we seeing the signs that this war shall soon materialize?

My name is Simcha, I just turned 21 and I live in the USA. I read your blog and it is wonderful. I agree with  you 100% .  I need your advice. I want to make aliyah to Israel, but I don't know what to do. I have a disability with my legs and I need to walk with crutches.   I believe that we, the Jewish people, should be in Israel to be safe physically and spiritually.  When I hear you say that the Jewish people must make aliyah and I see the olim come out of the airplane I am very happy and also saddened because my family and I are not there yet. My parents and family members do not seem to have the same feeling about Aliyah that I do.   My mother's side of the family lives in Israel. I am looking forward to you answer.

Tamar I have been a follower of your show for quite some time. You as well as others on INR have touched me deeply. So much so that I am considering doing Aliyah. Just to give you a little background, I am a recently separated 43 yr old Male who was married to a non-jew for over 20 years, although I have listened to your station for a few years I have just recently come into my Judaism.  I would like to know how I can do Aliyah, I have NO money in this recent separation I gave it all away to my ex-wife basically saying she needs the physical world more than I do. I want to move to Israel. My husband wants to move to the Caribbean. I am trying to explain to him that Israel will be the safest place for the Jewish people. My husband asked me what about Armageddon- Har Megido isn't that were the "final battle" will take place. what do I tell him? That the battle of Gog and Magog will not involve the Jewish people? Most people here tell you to make aliyah.  But no one tells you HOW to make aliyah.  Below is a 7 step plan for making aliyah, especially if you have family members who are not as into the idea as you are.

Preface:  It is WONDERFUL to hear you desire to make aliyah.
Do not wait. 

1) Start filling out the forms today, it can take a long time to process.  You do NOT have to keep your target date you plan for, but it will give you a goal, and hopefully you will be prepared to come home when the date arrives.  Go now to:  www.NbN.org.il and fill out their forms to make aliyah.

2) Start talking to your family about making Aliyah.  Describe your excitement and feelings of how wonderful it will be to live in Israel.  Bring the topic up at meals, when sitting around, before going to sleep.  Get your family used to the idea, or at least keep it always in their minds.  Do it in a positive manner, don't be annoying, but be excited and optimistic. 

3)  Purchase the book Em HaBanim Semeichah  and read it. Read passages from it to your family when you can.  Also, read them articles like these (click on all underlined text which has links to take you to where you can get more info):

IS THE FUTURE OF AMERICAN JEWRY SECURE?

Get them in the 'head' of hearing and wanting and listening to how people have done it, how it is a mitzvah, and how it is a privilege for our generation to be able to do it so easily compared to our ancestors throughout the ages.

4)  Considering your employment in Israel: Come with realistic expectations. You may not be able to just snap your fingers and find a job in your field here.  This would be the same case if someone from another country wanted to move to the USA, and expected right off the bat to find a job in their field. If you are willing to be flexible and take on other work while hoping to find something in your field, or are not against changing careers or working at a different job, there IS work here in Israel.  Go to:  www.Israemploy.net and start checking out what is available here. This of course is just a partial listing, and you will see that more jobs will be available AFTER you get here. Don't expect, or make as a 'condition' to have a job waiting for you before you make aliyah.  It doesn't work that way.  You must first come, and then you can do job interviews, or meet other people who can help direct you.   Pass the www.Iraemploy.net  web address on to your other Jewish family and friends, so they too can make steps for aliyah.  Also, after you have signed up with Nefesh B'Nefesh, send your resume to their employment department where they have connections in many different fields of work in Israel.  Their email address is employment@nbn.org.il. 

5) Look for communities to settle in, in Israel. Click HERE.  Remember, that we are not the USSR.  If you find that you'd like another city or community better after settling in, you can always re-locate.  

6) Plan a pilot trip to Israel.  You don't have to bring your whole family.  You and your spouse is enough if you can leave the kids with Grandma.  A good place to hook up with for a pilot trip is with Tehilla.   http://www.tehilla.com/ .  They take you to communities all over Israel to check out, and have representatives there to meet you and answer your questions about life in their town.  They also help you make connections regarding employment possibilities.  You can make your own private pilot trip as well.  If you cannot afford a hotel or places to stay at, contact me and I will try to help you with this hurdle.

7)  Join an aliyah email list or internet forum.  See if you can join an aliyah chug in your area.  A 'chug aliyah' (pronounced 'khoog') is an 'aliyah group' or 'aliyah meetings' that you can attend to network and learn more, and support each other with your aliyah.  These chugs are usually held in people's homes, so look for a group near you.  You can find out if there is a group near you through your aliyah center, Shaliach (Aliyah Representative) or maybe through aliyah email group lists.  It is good to meet others who are also planning aliyah.  This way you can learn from each other and network.

 *Specifically to single men like 'H'.  Do you know how much in demand you are being a single guy in his 40's in Israel?  There are tons of women here who are looking for a guy in this age group and older. I have seen singles (men & women) come here in their 50-s through 70's, meet someone, find love here, marry, and live 'happier' ever after.   Also, a big plus for Olim (new immigrants) when you marry, your two incomes combined as a couple really help to start you both on your new life.  I am sure everyone in Israel that you meet will be trying to set you up when you get here.  Shabbat meals are also a good way to meet singles, as many singles here network in groups, inviting each other over for Shabbatot.

*Specifically for Simcha who has a physical disability:  Israel has very good doctors, hospitals and health care.  While no medical insurance plans anywhere in the world are perfect, Israel's are pretty good in that  it is much cheaper to get medical help here in Israel than in the USA.   Also, you say that you have family here on your mother's side.  Having family here in israel is a big plus! Get in touch with them, start forming a closer relationship.  They can be of immense help.  Take advantage of this blessing!

I hope that you all start making plans for starting your aliyah.  Again, please remember that things take time, so start the process now.  Always make options for yourself.  Make sure your, and your family's passports are all current and in order. You can always change your mind and cancel plans, but you cannot snap your fingers when you want and expect things to go smoothly and quickly.  MAKE OPTIONS!  Always best to be able to decide you changed your mind, than to put yourself into situation where you decide you DO want to go, but can't.

I got back from a visit to the dentist yesterday, Thursday, planning
to make dinner...  ok, not really.  I was going to order pizza to be
delivered.  It was already 5:30pm, and I was too tired to cook and
still in pain from the dentist's chair.  I had one of my kids call in
the order, and I came and sat down at the computer and as my
homepage of our news site came up, I saw that there was
 another Arab terror attack in Jerusalem. Another Arab tractor
driver had gone on a rampage to murder Jews.  Interesting
when this comes at a time when the U.S. Secretary of State,
Hillary Clinton  was just here pushing the two state agenda
and the division of Jerusalem.  It's interesting that these type of attacks have only taken place in Jerusalem by Arabs who live in the eastern part of the city.  These 'Arab driver tractor attacks' didn't occur in other parts of Israel where there are Arabs working.  It didn't happen in Haifa, or Tel Aviv-Jaffa, or Netanya or Be`er Sheva.  Specifically in Jerusalem.  Makes one think...
Would it be shocker if naive Jerusalemites would panic and complain to Israel's security
forces, "Keep those Arabs out of our side of town, they are dangerous and cannot be trusted!"  And wouldn't THAT be just want those who wants to see Jerusalem divided LOVE to hear? 
It fits the splitting of Jerusalem agenda perfectly, to make the citizens demand what you wanted all along.

I am a christian who lives in the United States. I write to you quite often. I am not what you call Roman. I am a Christian Zionist with great love for Israel and all that it represents. I recently attended a Gert Wilders speech in Massachussetts. It was held in a Jewish synagogue. I rarely rub shoulders with U.S. Jews, but I enjoy it when I do.

I got there early and began chatting with as many as I could. I told them how I spend an hour or so each day on the internet surfing in the Jerusalem Post. I was trying to compare spiritual notes with them. Many of them said they did not own a computer, but all those who did asked me what the Jerusalem Post was. I thought they were trying to be sarcastic to me because I was not wearing a Yarmulkah (is that how you spell it?) But, the more I tried to be spiritually friendly the more I found they were not interested in Israel or what was going on there. I left the meeting hall, which was quite large (400 people.) in a well to do area of Massachussetts, three miles from Boston.

Feeling quite overwhelemed with perplexity, my inner feelings were thus. How in the world, with all the things that are going on, could religious synagogue goers, be ignorant of their own little besieged home? I dwelt on this all night, very disturbed. I believe God told me why the next day.
Oh, do you see that couple over there, that is so and so and man are they loaded.

Much of the time in their synagogue, I heard them make references to each other, when someone entered the building, "Oh, do you see that couple over there, that is so and so and man are they loaded." Oh, "See those people over there, that is such and such." These people were very pleasant to me and knew that I was not part of their group. I asked them if they ever heard of Geert Wilders and to my astonishment none of them had. I probably asked five or six people. I thought I was at a dog and pony show. I was quite taken aback. I thought that most of Jewry in the U.S. were up to speed on spriritual matters like you people at Arutz Sheva. Tovia and Yishai and Tamar etc. Well, I was set back aways on my spiritual haunches. I thought about this the next day and I believe God revealed to me the matter.

This is what I feel the sum of the matter is. Many U.S. Jews hate Israel. That may be too strong. U.S. Jews ignore Israel and this is why. Israel is an extreme threat to them. If they thought about Israel too long, they might feel they have to help Israel. Sure, they send them a few bucks now and then, but that is to relieve their conscienceses. That way when they stand before God, they will be able to say they supported Israel. Also, I am now going to reveal why, they mostly all voted for OBAMA. This will blow you away. This makes tears run down my cheeks. I may be wrong about all of this, please tell me if I am. I live in Maine. Not many Jewish people up here. I know of none personally. All I know is what I hear on Jerusalem Post and read in the Bible. But, I am connected to Israel and the future. I am connected to the God of Israel. Okay, these are the ten reasons why U.S. Jews voted for OBAMA and why they do not like the word Israel.

Many, many U.S. Jews are well off with big bucks and big estates and big connections and extremly little persecution here in the U.S. For them to admit Israel exists, would cause them to feel they have to help Israel. This might mean possibly having to take a stand in their daily speech, with others over here, thereby labeling them as ONE OF THOSE and causing persecution to come down on their heads. Most Jews are tucked away in little enclaves or FORTS they have created for safety over here and to leave the safety of the fort would again open them up for what maybe their forfathers went through. (OH MY G-D NOT THAT) You know, I almost really can't blame them. America is like a little Israel to them, when they get tucked away in their little communities over here. Okay, here comes the punch line. They feel if they spend ten minutes thinking about Israel, they may feel attracted to go on Aliya over there. Wow, the thought of all those gun battles they hear every night on the news, reminds them of the Nazis so much, what they do is place Israel so far out of their minds, the very thought of it causes them great pain.

Am I anywhere near the mark??? They almost hate Israel. They almost despise Israel. The very thought of Israel causes them discomfort. Why do 35,000 Jews in Iran refuse to go to Israel? They live right next door. They know they would be too easy a target in Israel. How am I doing? This is why they voted for OBAMA. They feel he will stop helping Israel and maybe just maybe Israel will disappear and leave their thoughts.

 

So...  please answer Dean.  He wants to understand, is he right, or is he wrong?
