Though it's popular today to take the side of the underdog - or perceived underdog, why does it seem Obama is against Mubarak's more secular regime, and on the side of the revolutionaries who are believed to be backed by the Muslim Brotherhood, a terrorist organization?

How strange that U.S. President Obama gives a speech (see below) saying he is asking the Egyptian authorities (25 sec. in) to refrain from violence against protestors.  And at (50 sec) he asks the Egyptian government to reverse the actions they've taken to interfere with access to the internet, cell phone service and social networks.  All these 'requests' by Obama de facto strengthen the side of the protestors. 

Now, to make this perfectly clear, I am not pro Mubarak.  He is a dictator and a snake.  We don't need to ask who he is.  The question we need to ask is, 'Who is behind this revolution?'.  It's certainly not spontaneous.  There was nothing like a 'Rodney King' explosion to rally behind.  No political opposition leader was publicly put to death that would spark a spontaneous uprising.  This had to be planned.  So who planned it?  It's widely believed that the Muslim Brotherhood is behind this.  There is much we need to know about the Muslim Brotherhood, and much we need to know about  President B. Hussein Obama's connections to it, and history with it.

The Muslim Brotherhood is Egypt's most powerful opposition group.  Their representatives -who run as 'independents' make up about 20% of their parliament.  The Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organization, like the Hamas terrorist organization, operates charities like schools and hospitals and in this way gets hold of the people.  This is how the Hamas rose in stature among the Arabs in Gaza as well.  But let us not be fooled.  Their 'charities' make them no less violent criminal terrorists.  Their 'charity work' is a tactic to get the people behind them. And it works... - until they get into power, and then they abuse and take away the rights of the very same people they represented. The Hamas learned well, because in fact, they began as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood back in the 1970s.  Like father, like son.

According to Wikipedia: "While studying at university, Osama bin Laden claimed to have been influenced by the religious and political ideas of several professors with strong ties to the Muslim Brotherhood".

[He met with Hitler to assist in the Final Solution] Another important leader associated with the Muslim Brotherhood in Palestine was 'Izz al-Din al-Qassam, an inspiration to Islamists because he had been the first to lead an armed resistance in the name of Palestine against the British in 1935.  Under these leaders, many moderate local Arab leaders were assassinated, including King Abdullah I of Jordan, and, from 1921 on, numerous terrorist attacks were perpetrated against Jews, amongst which was the murder of 67 religious Jews, men, women and children, and wounding of many others, in the 1929 Hebron massacre. Al-Hajj Amin al-Husseini led a general uprising against the British from 1936 to 1939; as a Nazi ally he spent the Second World War in Nazi Germany and advocated for and aided their annihilation of the Jews.  In 1945, the group established a branch in Jerusalem, and by 1947 twenty-five more branches had sprung up, in towns such as Jaffa, Lod, Haifa, Nablus, and Tulkarm, which total membership between 12,000 to 20,000.
Brotherhood members fought alongside the Arab armies during the 1948 Arab-Israeli war..."  

According to Chris Carter, a research analyst at the Counterterrorism Research Center of the Family Security Foundation, today, the Muslim Brotherhood "has either founded or is linked to most major U.S. Muslim organizations such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the Muslim Students Association (MSA), the Muslim American Society, and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA). The MB denounced violence back in the 1970's and now claim that they stand for democratic reform, but they support suicide bombings and are tied to international terrorist attacks."  

Needless to say, the Muslim Brotherhood is banned in Egypt.  The Muslim Brotherhood provides religious backing for Iran's moves in the Middle East, and the current government in Egypt sees Iran as a threat.  And now, it looks like it could be the Muslim Brotherhood (with Iran's backing) that has manipulated and agitated students and other citizenry to go into the streets.  Iran, which has its tentacles already in Lebanon through the Hezbollah terrorists, and has tentacles in Gaza through the Hamas, now wants its tentacles in Egypt, to get access to the Suez canal and the Sinai which borders the Gazan southern border with Egypt.  Having access to this border and/or it's tunnels between Egypt and the Hamas in Gaza, will enable Iran to build up the passage of heavy weaponry into the region that can't be transported so easily through tunnels, to use against Israel.  - Seems everything points to Israel.

Of course, now, the rioters in Egypt are yelling phrases like, 'We want Democracy' and 'Mubarak Out'.  But in the end, just as the Iranian People's revolution that called for the same thing back in the 70's and which ousted the Shah, they ended up with the Mullahs, Islamic law, and no real democracy.  And Iran is using their money now to build nuclear weapons, and not helping its population.  It also has turned against the West, especially America.  Oh well.

Now, let's look at Obama, and ask ourselves why he would ask for leniency and a free hand to open communications for the (most likely believed to be backers) Muslim Brotherhood and their patsy supporters.  

Obama is a Muslim.  His father was a Muslim. It's alleged that Obama's father was himself was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood for 30 years.  Obama's step father was also a Muslim.  B. Hussein Obama studied at a Muslim school as a boy.   When he later became President of the United States, he ran to make a speech in Egypt and stated to his Cairo audience and the entire Muslim world that "the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam".   Why?  How could he make this statement?  Especially after the Sept. 11th attacks, AND the fact that Islam IS AT WAR already with America?

Why would Obama make these gestures?  Further, why in 2009, would Obama, as president of the United States, meet with the Muslim Brotherhood, a terror group?  See this excerpt from Haaretz:  

"U.S. President Barack Obama met with members of Egypt's Islamist opposition movement, the Muslim Brotherhood, earlier this year, according to a report in Thursday editions of the Egyptian daily newspaper Almasry Alyoum.  ...

"According to the report, the members requested that news of the meeting not be publicized. They expressed to Obama their support for democracy and the war on terror.

The newspaper also reported that the members communicated to Obama their position that the Muslim Brotherhood would abide by all agreements Egypt has signed with foreign countries. ...."

What did they talk about? 

Why did they even meet? 

And why is Obama seemingly siding with the revolution?  

I think we'd all like to know, one way or the other.

A few years ago, I saw an episode of Saturday Night Live. One of the skits they had was of their guest star of that week, standing on stage, and taking questions from the audience.  I don't remember who the guest was, or what exactly was said, but someone in the audience (an actor of course)  stood up and asked the guest something like as follows: 

Audience member:  "I heard that you are getting a divorce from your wife, and that you were abusive towards her."

SNL Guest:  "I'm not getting a divorce.  My wife and I are very happy together!  Where did you hear that?""

Audience member:  "I read about it on the internet."

Guest:  "Well, it's not true.  Anything else you want to ask?"

Audience member:  "Yes, I also heard that you were turned down for doing an upcoming movie because you are so difficult to work with and that you butt heads with the directors of every picture you work on."

Guest:  "Uh, listen buddy, I don't know why you are saying these things, they're absolutely not true, and in fact, I get along wonderfully with my fellow cast and crew members.  Where did you hear all these stories?"

Audience member:  "I read it on the internet."

Guest:  "Please, tell me where you read all these lies against me." 

Audience member:  "On my website."

And so too, our enemies write and propagandize complete lies and fabrications about Israel.  Take the Mohamed Al Dura case.  The Arabs claimed that IDF troops shot and killed the boy in a shoot out:

"The image of Mohammed Al Dura, a 12-year-old Palestinian boy crouched in terror behind his father as he allegedly becomes the fatal victim of Israeli bullets, has become an icon of Palestinian "martyrdom," especially in the Arab world. It has been repeatedly broadcast on television, appeared in Palestinian posters, advertisements and on Arab country postage stamps, fueling Palestinian hatred of and violence against Israel. "

However, the Al Dura story was proven to be a hoax. It was mainly French journalist Phillipe Karsenty who took the blows, fought hard and even went to court to expose these vicious blood libel lies.  And he won. Among the facts: 
a)  The boy was not in the line of fire of the IDF.
b)  There is no proof of a body or that he was killed or even shot. 
c)  There was no blood at the scene, even though it was claimed he had been shot several times.
d) In the film, the boy, who was allegedly shot dead, miraculously raises his arm and opens his eyes to look at what's going on.  Click here to see.  Also, for those who wish, you can listen to the show I did with Mr. Karsenty here.

Media watchdogs and army intelligence have caught on film the 'Pallywood' scenes that our enemies stage.  Fake reports of Palestinian Authority protestors being shot and killed, or of supposedly 'dead bodies' placed on stretchers and being brought for burial, only to fall off the stretcher and 'miraculously' come to life and climb back on.  Watch here.

Israel just isn't able to fight it. They outnumber us and they outweigh us in wealth. Add to that, that Israel is always on the defensive and apologizes before we even know the facts of a case.  It could also be that we are just inept when it comes to hasbara (explaining our case).  We are up against a very slick and tricky foe.  As they say, "A Lie goes around the world, before Truth can put its pants on."

Facts don't seem to matter when the other side plays the broken record routine of how evil Israel is.

If our children aren't getting good G-dly values, then what values ARE they getting?
First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the baby in the baby carriage.

This blog post starts out light hearted, but as life often does, will end very heavy on our shoulders.

My husband jokes around that the community that we live in here in Israel has a high rate of teen pregnancies.  You see, a good number of my daughter's all girl's school graduating class is with child, - only thing is, they are married.  -And thank G-d - they did it in the right order.  This is because idealistic religious youth today are getting married earlier.  Many say that their goals after finishing school are to get married and have lots of babies.  Some move into inexpensive housing in yishuvim or small rentals in the bigger cities, as they finish up their university or career studies (while pregnant).  Some young couples opt out of the rat race and go towards the 'living on the land' route out in the unpopulated areas in Yehuda & Shomron (Judea & Samaria) living in a trailer home until they can build their own homes one day.  Some of these couples are the 'hill top youth' types and they live very frugally and close to the land.  All these young married couples written about above have chosen their values and have opted for 'family life' as soon as possible.  They have chosen, because of their values, to forego the 'single's scene' and to skip all the hurt and 'messes' that long-term singlehood often dish out.  They have taken down off the pedestal, their hopes for powerful 'careers' , and placed them in it's proper place of being important, but not THE most important thing in life.  Their goals?  To serve G-d with their ideals the best they know how, and to raise good children who will do the same and carry on the torch of Judaism, wisdom, truth and love of their Land.

Now, compare this with the richest and most advanced western country in the world, America.  And don't think I am happy about saying what I am about to say, because I truly appreciate America and am very grateful to it for their once wholesome values.  But America has lost it's shine.  It has become a valueless society along with the rest of the Western powers.  It has removed G-d from the schools and the court houses and it has, through Hollywood and the Press, made fun of people who believe and live by the Bible, belittling them and making them old fashioned provincial nut-cases.  And what has it got instead?  A society focused on comfort, materialism and instant gratification.  

Oh no!  Not again!  Ehud Barak has started a new political party in the Knesset.  Its called, 'Atzmaut' (Independence) .

I thought that we could do better.

Please leave your suggestions for a more honest names, or useful political party names for the citizens of Israel.
I'll start them off, you can add.

First of all, the next party to be formed should be a party called the 'No More Political Parties in Israel!' party.

But let's be realistic, and give realistic names and their mottos. 

How about:

The 'Buy My Vote' party:   'We'll sell out to Anyone'

 

The 'Green' Party:  "Recycle.  - Especially Israeli Politicians" 

(I think I heard that somewhere before)

The Appeasement Party: We cow-tow to Everyone!

'PROMISE' :  Their motto: We Promise never to keep our promises.

'Guns & Dope' Party:  Uniting the Right and the Left

The 'W.O.O.F.' party. (Wimps Out Of Funds)  "Panting and wagging their tails for our masters - or for whoever throws us a bone."  Their platform: We'll say yes to bribes, portfolio pay offs and anything else that pads our bank accounts.
