I am repeatedly engaging in verbal combat over US pressure for a settlement freeze and I think more people need to combat this insidious ploy to endanger Israel. More effective slogans are needed and more people need to be aware of how misguided this US led effort is.
Even though we are six month away from Tu B'Shvat, I was thinking you might enjoy my suggestion for "Let My People Grow". There is an amusing utube video of Moses and the Exodus by the same name and I would hope those crusading for the legalization of marijuana would not mind if we borrowed the slogan. After all I know how much you enjoy a real "grassroots movement". Another slogan/pitgam can be Natural Growth is a Human Right.
If you want to be controversial and cross swords with the political left you can use Obama's words that "A woman's ability to decide how many children to have and when, without interference from the government, is one of the most fundamental rights we possess. It is not just an issue of choice, but equality and opportunity for all women." And then say in bold letters except if your a Jewish Woman living in the Old City of Jerusalem or the West Bank.
I was hoping since you have a great network of friends who support Israel you could pass this suggestion along. I wish you, Malkah and Leah all the best and enjoy listening to your program from time to time.
All the best,
Eyal
