Quotes and Notes Corner: The Nazi Nasrallah

Just so we're clear on this: the Lebanese Iranian proxy Hizbullah is headed by a man intent on a new genocide of the Jews. And if it has to be carried out two Jews at a time, so be it.

As usual in this corner, I am going to let the man speak for himself.

In October 2002, addressing a graduation ceremony in a Beirut neighborhood, Hizbullah leader Hassan Nasrallah claimed that US foreign policy was being manipulated for Zionist ends, such as the return of the Jews to the Land of Israel. However, unbelievable as it seems, Nasrallah then went on to offer an observation in praise of Zionism.

"If they [the Jews] all gather in Israel, it will save us the trouble of going after them worldwide," he said.

I know it's just a translation, but I don't think "going after them" in this context means "follow them around." I think the translation is more along the lines of "stabbing, shooting and exploding them." That is to say: jihad.

As in: "...fight and slay the pagans wherever you find them and seize them beleaguer them and lie in wait in every stratagem...." (according to the Koran, the ninth chapter, Al-Tawba, verse 5)

And as in: "Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the last day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Apostle, nor acknowledge the Religion of Truth, even if they are of the People of the Book, until they pay the jizyah with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued." (according to the Koran, Al-Tawba, verse 29)

And as in: "It is reported on the authority of Abu Huraira that the Messenger of Allah said: I have been commanded to fight against people so long as they do not declare that there is no god but Allah, and he who professed it was guaranteed the protection of his property and life on my behalf except for the right affairs rest with Allah." (according to the Hadith collection Sahih Muslim, Kitab Al-Iman, Hadith no. 30, and nearly identical Hadith nos. 31-35. Hadith constitute reports of what Muhammad did, said or approved of - all of which constitute binding instruction for the devout Muslim.)
