Melania stole the show
Melania stole the show

Melania Trump's photo was featured in the Wall Street Journal on Tuesday this week as she beamingly launched  her "Be Best" children's initiative at the White House, aimed at making a difference on issues such as social media behavior, bullying and opioids. Anti-Trump liberal media used the occasion to accuse her of copying a pamphlet issued in 2014, as if that matters, calling it a misstep. CNN criticized the time elapsed since the inauguration, saying that the First Lady had "at last revealed her formal platform."

Last week, it was different, as President Trump and the First Lady hosted the French president and his wife.

The French love all that pomp and fanfare, so during last week’s three-day summit between President Macron and President Trump, we obliged – if half-heartedly.

We don’t do it like they do it over there, not our style, and speaking of Style, the show-stopper was First Lady Melania Trump’s stunning white outfit that she wore throughout the official state visit, topped by that wide-brimmed white hat. That’s what got the headlines in a week that saw more activity than action. In one sense, politically speaking, that is good news.

Trump and Macron made themselves available for a joint news conference, then Macron made a big speech before Congress, between all that the two leaders discussed Iran, Syria, Korea and other business, but here is one topic, so far as we know, they never got around to – the Middle East Conflict.

Actually they did discuss this, but exclusively in reference to Iran. In other words, the Palestinian Arabs and their “cause” never came up. Normally, by force of habit, the Arab-Israeli conflict tops the agenda whenever world leaders meet, anywhere. Not this time, and that is quite a shock and suggests that the Palestinian Arabs have had their day, they’ve become boring, irrelevant, a bother and a nuisance, and the world is onto other things.

The same media that snubs Melania tries to hide that the Palestinian Arabs have had their day, they’ve become boring, irrelevant, a bother and a nuisance, and the world is onto other things.
Trump got it started when he certified Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, a move that automatically un-certified Palestinian Arab claims to Jerusalem or other parts of the Holy Land, leaving them scattered and scrambling for attention by any means. Lately, and even as recently as this weekend, their desperation has taken them to rioting at the Gaza border, and their use of explosives, firebombs and hand grenades, only settled it that they are nothing but a bunch of crybaby terrorists.

There was no way to hide that fact, even as the media tried to hide the evidence… the same media that snubs Melania for the sin of being glamorous but married to the wrong president. Had it been Obama, she’d be on the cover of Vogue, Cosmo and all those other magazines. Instead, she is married to Trump – and this they will not forgive.

So a classy lady like that is being spurned out of sheer spite; the sort of “mean girl” bullying we have come to expect from the Left whose peevishness knows no limit.

It is not enough for them to sneer and snarl at Trump. They’ll go after his wife and kids as well.

Leave it to France’s First Lady Brigitte Macron to commiserate with our First Lady’s isolation, saying she feels sorry for Melania who appears to be “trapped” in the White House.

Apparently, Mrs. Macron was speaking as one woman to another. Around here, we understand it as one political party to another, specifically the Democrats and their Resistance against Trump. Domestically, that movement has become so widespread and so ugly that it’s made us a laughingstock around the world. These Democrats, people like Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif), are starting to resemble those other crybaby terrorists.

Too bad we have to go overseas to hear words like these for Melania – that she is “kind, charming, intelligent and very open.”

Also that, “She’s a woman with a lot of character but tries to hide it. She laughs very easily about everything but shows it less than I do.”

That too comes from Brigitte Macron who knows class when she sees it, generosity and friendship so lacking back here among Liberals so blinded by hatred.

What a pity.
