Op-Ed: Mr. Kerry, Just Stay at Home

Kerry wants a breakthrough so badly that he actually diminishes its chances.
Secretary of State John Kerry has now made 10 trips to Israel since becoming Secretary of State.
He clearly has staked his entire position on forcing a "Deal" with Netanyahu and Mahmoud Abbas. He has neglected all else to make something happen.
He has allowed the Iranians to continue to enrich Uranium (reportedly to only 5% but who actually believes that).
He has allowed the Syrians to keep their chemical weapons despite a deal to destroy them.
He has allowed Al Qaeda to take over Fallujah which American GI's fought to keep with their lives.
He has allowed Al Qaeda to create bases in Syria.
In essence, he is obsessed with negotiations between Abbas and Netanyahu despite the fact that, before the start of negotiations, a relative status quo had developed where terrorism had been suppressed.
Since Kerry has visited Israel, terrorists with blood on their hands have been released, despite a massive public outcry. Terrorism has been on the rise.
Kerry wants a breakthrough so badly that he actually diminishes its chances. Visiting Israel gives him visibility, exposure, photo-ops, and newsprint. He gives the impression of working very hard, when in point of fact he is keeping himself in the media's eye only via Israel.
Mr. Kerry, just stay home and take care of the world's massive problems - the ones that really require your utmost focus and attention. Leave Israel alone. Enough is enough.
Better yet, pack your bags and go to Syria to prevent another 100,000 people from being killed. The American public and the the world will be better served.if you do that.
Editor's note: And for a report on the real results of Kerry's visit, read the facts below, sent to Arutz Sheva by Yehudit Tayar, a voluntary immediate response emergency medic who serves on the Board of Directors of Hatzalah Yehudah and Shomron, and is one of the veteran spokesmen of the Jewish pioneers in Yesha.
This report is translated and publicized by Hatzalah Yehudah and Shomron with the clearance and confirmation of the IDF. Hatzalah Yehudah and Shomron is a voluntary emergency medical organization with over 500 volunteer doctors, paramedics, medics who are on call 24/7 and work along with the IDF, 669 IAF Airborn Rescue, the security officers and personal throughout Yesha and the Jordan Valley, and with MDA.
We go out to rescue anyone who needs our emergency medical assistance; including civilians, military and Arabs also those within the PA territories. (with an IDF presence)
There has been much discussion about the security situation this past year. Mr. Netanyahu was quoted as saying that there were less casualties from terror attacks during the past year. But this is not for lack of trying.
I wish to clarify the real situation on the ground by giving an example of a few days in our lives- not just in Yesha – and the continuous attacks against us.

The last report was at 4:00 p.m. and the day is not over yet.
With all of the attempted murders and continuous attacks we are thankful to G-d that the results are what they are. The continued incitement by the heads of the Palestinian Authority and the way the terrorists are constantly praised and made into heroes by the leadership is encouraging these murderous attacks against us.
These attacks are barely mentioned by the mainstream Israeli press - although they have increased since Kerry's visits to Israel.
The truth about the security situation in Israel is on-going terror attacks encouraged by the heads of the Palestinian Authority who are anticipating further gestures by Israel that will endanger not only the residents of Judea, Samaria, the Jordan Valley and Jerusalem- but endanger the entire country.
We, who work in security and rescue have the responsibility to not only save lives in emergencies but also to expose the truth of the security situation.
